Yesterday my brother and I went shopping, and as we pass the cheese section we spotted some..... blue cheese....those cheese with veins of blue mold inside it. Being the adventurous souls that we were, we bought a packet that was reduced to clear. Unpacking that cheese instantly reminded me of the pirates in Astérix cutting a piece of green cheese which blew up their ship. The smell was beyond anything I could ever imagine. It was like the product of mixing paint thinner with milk, and let it sit there under the sun for 10 years, then scoop up whatever sediment there is in the bottle and package it up ready for consumption. Its more biological weapon than food if u ask me.... it took me like 2 hours to get the smell out of the kitchen, with the help of a few fans, and the smell is now spread all around the house. To those who come after me.... stay away from blue cheese.....
